Aaron began an electrical apprenticeship at Ausgrid in 2000 and gained broad distribution system experience in various departments of Ausgrid.
He then worked as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Network Outage Co-ordinator, Construction Officer, Distribution Planner, Contestability Coordinator and Electrical Designer at Ausgrid.
Aaron is a qualified electrical tradesman with an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Project Management.
Aaron knows Ausgrid’s contestable design processes very well which is key to successful and timely outcome.
Electrical Design Consultant
Ian has over 40 years experience in the electrical distribution industry. He started out at Ausgrid (then Sydney County Council) as an apprentice electrician in 1973.
Once becoming a qualified electrical tradesman, Ian then completed the Electrical Engineering Certificate.
Ian has over 20 years hands-on design and project management experience working with supply authorities in Sydney, Darwin and Launceston designing city basement and upper level chamber substations, cable risers and pit and duct systems. Ian then spent nearly 10 years managing the Design Group at Ausgrid’s Homebush and Oatley Offices.
Ian brings a wealth of experience to our team, he is a valuable advisor on complex projects.
Michael has more than 37 years experience in the electrical distribution industry. He started out at Ausgrid (then Sydney County Council) as an apprentice electrician in 1979.
Michael worked as a Metering Technician, Connection Officer, HV Tester, Construction Officer and for the last 14 years as an Electrical Designer at Ausgrid.
Michael is a qualified electrical tradesman with an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Michael’s strength is his detailed knowledge of Ausgrid’s network and its operation.
